As a best-selling author, podcast host, speaker, and former Congressional candidate, Heidi St. John has been speaking on family, cultural, and political issues for nearly twenty years. She is the author of twelve books, including the bestselling Becoming MomStrong: How to Fight with All That's in You for Your Family and Your Faith. Heidi’s passion to see God’s people engage at the “intersection of faith and culture” is the heartbeat behind her popular podcast, which has been downloaded over 24 million times. Heidi has been married to Jay, her college sweetheart, since 1989. They reside just outside beautiful Vancouver, Washington, where their non-profit organization, Firmly Planted Family, and the Homeschool Resource Center are based. The St. Johns have seven children, all of whom have been homeschooled, and an ever-growing number of grandchildren.

Jay’s Bio
Jay St. John is the Executive Director of Firmly Planted Family, a non-profit organization that focuses on encouraging families to thrive within a biblical framework. A gifted worship leader and song-writer, Jay is also the homeschooling father of seven children and "Papa" to his grandchildren. In 2017, Jay and his wife, Heidi, opened the "Firmly Planted Homeschool Resource Center" which serves as a full-time homeschool support to families in the Portland/Vancouver area. Jay and Heidi have been married since 1989.

Jay (the 80s rocker) met his college-sweetheart, Heidi (the cheerleading/homecoming queen) while attending Portland Oregon’s Multnomah School of the Bible in the late 80s. They became Mr. & Mrs. in 1989 and embarked on what would be an incredible journey of ministry and let’s be real–baby makin’!
The St. Johns reside just outside beautiful Vancouver, Washington, where their non-profit organization, Firmly Planted Family, and the Homeschool Resource Center are based. Together they have seven children ranging from teen to adult, 3 kids in-loves, and four grandkids! They have homeschooled their children all the way through high school, with 6 graduates and one more to go!
